LOCAL CORRECTIONAL PROGRAMS

TREATMENT COURT SERVICES (ASC), Since 2000:

How to get in:  Must be court ordered by the sentencing judge and accepted by the Treatment Judge.

Focus:  Determined by the Treatment Judge, Treatment Team, and Treatment Administrator.

Services:  Formerly known as “Drug Court,” “Mental Health Court,” and “Reintegration Court.” Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, Outpatient Treatment,

Education, and/or variations of those services. Participants will provide their own support (food, housing, medical, etc.) unless they are assigned to residential services (See “Residential Drug & Alcohol Treatment”).

Location: 1900 Prathersville, Columbia, Missouri 65202.

Length of Stay:  Determined by Treatment Judge, usually one year.

Fees:  None, unless order to pay specific fees by the court (i.e.; drug test fees, class fees, Work Release fees, etc.).


BOONE COUNTY DETAINEE-TRUSTEE (ITP), Since 1999:

How to get in:  Designed to offer overflow housing for trustee detainees of the Boone County Jail. All referrals come from the Boone County Sheriff.

Focus:   Safety, security, and preparing for self-reliance. 

Services:  Not allowed to leave the facility without sheriff chaperone. Live at Reality House in dorm room setting with 24/7 supervision.  Allowed out of the facility based on a curfew set by the referral agent.  Bunk bed & bedding, towel, 3 meals, personal hygiene supplies if indigent, and random breath & random urinalysis testing.  Passes are not allowed, but visitation may be allowed if it is pre-approved by staff.

Location: 1900 Prathersville, Columbia, Missouri 65202.

Length of Stay:  Determined by the Boone County Sheriff.

Fees:  None, but may be required to help in facility’s kitchen.


WORK RELEASE PROGRAMS

WORK RELEASE (WRP), Since 1998:

How to get in:  By written order of participant’s sentencing judge.

Focus:  Job, school, and/or medical while compliantly serving a court ordered sentence. 

Services:  Must live at Reality House in dorm room setting with 24/7 supervision.  Only allowed out of the facility for work, school, medical appointments, or other court approved activities (maximum of 12 hours per day).  Bunk bed & bedding, towel, 3 meals, personal hygiene supplies if indigent, and random breath & random urinalysis testing.  Van transportation to and from nearby bus stop is available.  Passes are not allowed, but visitation can be earned if it is pre-approved by staff.

Location: 1900 Prathersville, Columbia, Missouri 65202.

Length of Stay:  Determined by the sentencing Judge, usually 10-360 days.  Three-quarters credit (release after 75% served) may be awarded by the RHP Executive Director for serving the sentence (not shock) in a well-behaved manner.

Fees:  Three times participant’s hourly salary per day.


 

RESIDENTIAL TRANSITION (RTP), Since 1998:

How to get in:  Must have a written order from the participant’s sentencing judge or Probation & Parole Officer.  Very limited availability and duration of stay.

Focus:   Safety, security, and serving a court ordered sentence in a compliant manner.

Services:  Must live at Reality House in dorm room setting with 24/7 supervision.  Allowed out of the facility based on a curfew set by the referral agent.  Bunk bed & bedding, towel, 3 meals, personal hygiene supplies if indigent, and random breath & random urinalysis testing.  Van transportation to and from nearby bus stop is available.  Visitation is not allowed.

Location: 1900 Prathersville, Columbia, Missouri 65202.

Length of Stay:  Determined by the referral agent, usually 90-180 days.

Fees:  $56 per week paid in advance.
